Food was extremely delicious and super fresh. Food came pretty quickly after ordering. Service was very attentive. Love the ambiance!

I had a disappointing solo diner experience at this place. It’s conveniently located near the train station, but that’s where the positives end. The staff, particularly the hostess at the stand, was incredibly loud and disruptive, constantly chatting with each other. To make matters worse, the vegetables that arrived were lukewarm and soggy, as if they had been frozen. It was a clear case of serving subpar food. Overall, I won’t be returning to this diner. Honestly, I’ve had better TV dinners. I left feeling disappointed and underwhelmed.

A sushi / Japanese restaurant in Millburn, near the train station. They have a little parking lot you can use as a customer as street parking isn't always the easiest. Staff was attentive and quick, brought out water and a bucket to hold the white wine in ice. Their special rolls were good - the King Crab Roll, the King Dragon, Millburn Sunset, Sakura rolls were all excellent and if you order enough, they come out on a boat. Sashimi dinner mix was solid but not a stretch, three pieces each of five different fish (tuna, salmon, yellowtail, white tuna and fluke, I think). Appetizers - the eggplant in miso was very good, edamame standard, and rock shrimp was just so-so (needed a bit more punch on the sauce, reminded me more of a sweet & sour shrimp). Softshell crab tempura was ok, and the spicy salmon on fried rice - I'm not so much a fan but others liked it. Will have to come by to try some more next time.

I’m a very picky eater and I mostly stick to foods that I know but I wanted to try something new and thank the Heavens I landed at this cute restaurant. It’s a calm and friendly environment. The servers are so kind, I didn’t know what to order and they guided me to try a little bit of everything in their options of boxes which I loved. It includes a soup which I opted out of. Honestly 9/10 on the food! A lot of flavor and everything compliments each other. I definitely recommend.

We used to come here on a weekly basis pre-Covid. Loved the food, but didn't like the service and felt the wait staff was rude. Recently we had dinner here a few times and something has changed. The decor has been updated as has the menu and the wait staff is much, much better. In fact, they recognize us as former customers and are always happy to see us. We have now returned to coming here more regularly as the food is very good. Sakura has a parking lot as well as options to park on the street. We never wait when we come here and it's BYOB, so we enjoy bringing our own selection of sake or wines. Nice varied menu with lots of choices. Our favorites are chirashi sushi, age dashi tofu, all their special rolls are wonderful and my all-time favorite appetizer which is large enough to be an entree - Summer Garden.
